Help plants grow people. We are located in the heart of Jerusalem, we are committed to sowing the seeds of change through horticulture; our Social Environmental Hub acts as an anchor for over 100 local organizations. Through the medium of plants, we seek to create a more environmentally conscious Jerusalem and erich the cultural landscape for all the diverse elements in our community, Jewish, Christian and Muslim, alike. As the largest botanical garden in Israel – our holdings number over 6000 plants – we work daily to preserve the region’s rich and varied natural heritage.
Our quarterly newsletter features information about the latest happenings at the Gardens and more – including great gardening tips, beautiful botanical photographs and plant information from JBG’s Chief Scientist, Ori Fragman-Sapir, and descriptions of the Hub’s community and sustainability work in Jerusalem.
