Touring the sections of the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens (JBG) is like visiting different geographical areas of the world: while most botanical gardens are organized by botanical grouping, JBG is arranged according to the plants’ geographical origin.
This division enables you to wander from the vegetation of one continent to that of another, and even between different types of vegetation within each continent. Each time you visit, you’ll see different plants blooming, from different parts of the world.
This division also enables us to conserve all-important water! Each section and subsection is watered according to own specific, climatic needs.
