A tour full of scents and tastes in the medicinal and herbal gardens, getting to know the various herbs. The tour includes the three herbs used to make za’atar, as well as other herbs and plants used for perfumes, their traditional uses, and uses in the kitchen. Using our senses of touch, taste, and smell, we ask why plants have these scents and tastes, what are the differences between the way the leaves and flowers smell, and how we can use these different smells and tastes. We will also learn about how the various uses were identified, and more.
